Tara M. Renfrow, NBC-HWC, LMT, MMP, PN1-NC, Owner
Tara felt that there had to be more to life and knew she had a passion to help others. Tara believes that our modern lifestyles have caused our bodies to become unbalanced, causing our bodies to fight to gain that balance back. Tara’s training includes Swedish, Neuromuscular/Trigger Point, Lymphatic drainage, Passive and Active Stretching, Raindrop Aromatherapy, Clinical and Customized Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, Cupping, Gusha Techniques, Chair Massage and Kansa Vatki Foot Massage. Yvonne Swiontek, LMT
Yvonne has been a Certified Nursing Assistant since 2017. She made her way into the hospital setting in 2021 and currently works in the ER.
Massage therapy was intriguing because it falls into the preventive side of health care verses working within a hospital is curative health care. Making the decision to go back to school for massage therapy is now allowing Yvonne to balance out these two worlds. Yvonne is enjoying her new career in massage therapy and is looking forward to continuing to help clients with their overall health & wellness. Yvonne is a recent graduate of the College of Lake County Massage Therapy program and has been licensed since June 2025
Edgar Corona, LMT
Edgar found his interest in massage therapy by happenstance, while taking classes to obtain his CNA certification. During his studies for his CNA certification, the massage therapy students practiced on his CNA cohort. After that brief encounter, he realized how much interest he had in massage therapy. Growing up, his aunt was in the field of massage therapy, and he learned a bit from her, which led him to work on family. At his core, he always wanted to help people in any manner that he could. He enjoyed learning Swedish massage and is extremely interested in Myofascial techniques. He plans to continue to grow his knowledge in massage therapy and to learn a variety of modalities, particularly the ones that help people not only relax but that help them recover from anything from injuries to daily stress. Edgar is a recent graduate of the massage therapy program at the College of Lake County, having graduated in December 2024, and received his license February 2025.
Edgar is currently accepting new clients!
